Genus of approximately 400 species of time tested shrubs and bushes from tropical woodland and hills worldwide. Ixora is a petite member of children of tropical shrubs. In the tropics, Ixoras are commonly discovered, almost continuously exhibiting bright red blossoms. Colorful, 4-petalled plants best shiny natural leaves. Used as a houseplant or summer time veranda-compartment vegetation. 3 to 4 feet. Shrub with lustrous, leathery foliage. From late spring to the autumn months, it bears enormous clusters of blooms. This may not be a herb for that beginner – results in drop if subjected to cool airflow for an excellent small amount of time – rose buds decline should it be transferred in one location to another. Plant growth conditions

Ixora prefers scorching temps – 70°F lowest. Brightly lit up a spot or total sunlight. Develop in soilless planting mixture.

Always keep rich compost damp at all times but never waterlogged – do not let to dry. Minimize irrigating in winter. Use soft, tepid normal water. Misting is essential.

Plant reproduction

Take semi-ripe stem cuttings in springtime. Work with a rooting hormonal and provide the bottom temperature.
